Another day off, and another day spent in search of cherry blossoms. One of my students recommended that I go to
Shinjuku Gyoen, and I am so glad I did. I walked around for just over two hours in an enormous garden full of cherry blossoms in full bloom, ponds, and even a greenhouse with tropical plants. Here are a few images of where I spent the afternoon (well worth the 200 yen entrance, if you ask me):

Wow! Those colors are incredible. And on the same tree?? Nuts! I wish I was there to walk around with you... *sigh*
